KATZE CUSTOMS: ELEKTROKATZE

A hybrid BMX-track bicycle designed for agile manoeuvring in urban environments, with shortened handlebars and 20” wheels.

The frame was produced at Colossi Cycling where the steel tubes were hand cut, welded, painted and assembled by highly skilled craftspeople. This project spanning two years of development was a labour of love from concept to finish.

The bicycle name, ELEKTROKATZE, is for our cat – a small and fierce bundle of attitude. The logo captures her mid-meow, and the lightning bolt celebrates the kink in her tail.

 

The wordmark is an original angular cursive lettering designed from scratch. The sharp lines of the bicycle frame and graphics work together to create a cohesive visual identity.
